This practical experience forged her expertise in corporate and business law, equipping her with the nuanced skills to negotiate with major oil players and confidently navigate the terrain of franchising law. To further bolster her legal acumen, she undertook an internship at the Regional Trial Court of Angeles City, where she prepared written decisions and conducted legal research. The RTC experience wasn't just an internship; it was a crucible. She honed her skills in crafting persuasive decisions, navigating legal labyrinths, and observing courtroom dynamics.

A testament to his academic excellence, Atty. Gutierrez received numerous scholarships throughout law school, including the prestigious Legal Scholarship from Former Chief Justice Artemio Panganiban's Foundation for Liberty and Prosperity, in partnership with Mr. Lucio Tan's Tan Yan Kee Foundation and the Philippine Association of Law Schools.
Juggling rigorous law studies with a budding legal career, Atty. Gutierrez gained valuable hands-on experience in the insurance industry, starting with QBE Insurance, Australia's leading insurer. He later leveraged his legal expertise at KMC Solutions, the Philippines' top staff-leasing and co-working company. To further hone his legal skills, he also interned at the Office of the Solicitor General and the Office of the Vice President of the Philippines.
Atty. Gutierrez currently serves as the Regional Compliance Lead for Southeast Asia at Epson, where he plays a critical role in driving compliance initiatives, overseeing regulatory frameworks, and ensuring adherence to anti-corruption, data privacy, and corporate governance policies across multiple entities in the region.
Prior to this, he was the Deputy Legal Counsel and Compliance Head for the LausGroup of Companies, a diversified conglomerate encompassing automotive, insurance, and food & beverage industries. In this role, he provided comprehensive regulatory guidance to hundreds of business units, ensuring strict compliance with key laws such as the Anti-Money Laundering Act and the Data Privacy Act. Notably, he played a pivotal role in helping Corporate Guarantee, the Group's insurance arm, meet the ₱1.3 billion net worth capitalization requirement in 2022 as mandated by law.
